Reconciliation Centers:

La Salette Institute of Reconciliation, (click title), housed at the La Salette University, Santiago City, Isabela, Philippines with an extension campus in Silang, Cavite, Philippines.

The purposes of the institute include:

 

  1. to promote Peace grounded on Justice through Reconciliation; 
  2. to offer a forum of open, safe, and free discussion of various cultures, different beliefs and divergent ideologies;
  3. to provide opportunities for research on the theories and practice of Conflict Transformation and Reconciliation and their related subjects, aggression, arbitration, adjudication, competition, confrontation, negotiation, mediation, collaboration, accommodation, forgiveness, and others;
  4. to teach Conflict Resolution, Conflict Management, Conflict Transformation and Reconciliation;
  5. to train in the art and science of Conflict Transformation & Reconciliation;
  6. to advocate Conflict Transformation and Reconciliation as a viable alternative to exploitation, domination, subjugation, oppression, abuse, violence, terrorism, war.

 

Duke Center for Reconciliation: (click title)

  • Rooted in a Christian vision of God's mission, the Center for Reconciliation at Duke Divinity School inspires, forms, and supports leaders, communities, and congregations to live as ambassadors of reconciliation.    

Paulist Center for Evangelization and Reconciliation: (click title)

  • They assist parishes and their representative groups to reach out to the unchurched, welcome back those who have drifted away and deepen the spiritual life of active Catholics through a variety of programs and gatherings.

International Fellowship of Reconciliation: (click title)

  • Founded in 1919 in response to the horrors of war in Europe, IFOR has taken a consistent stance against war and its preparation throughout its history. Perceiving the need for healing and reconciliation, it envisions a world based upon love in action.
